Exercise 13 managing colour

In this exercise, we are looking at colour.

Street light.

1: Very orange sodium light:

The picture here of the closed shop, renders at first, a pale blue tint from the morning light. with a strong  orange light , from the sodium lamp. With simple white balance taken from the tar mack. And some adjustment on exposure , with black point and hue. Much of the tint has beed taken out . This was a quite difficult picture to play with. using a few more tools.

2:

This was quite easy using the same tools, watching the high light and low tone viewer. High in red, low in blue . Fine adjustment brought back the colour that was lost with the blue tint. Although losing that early morning look. Warms the picture, showing more fall off from the artificial lights.
